Anyone who is basketball fan would be remorse to say that Rivers is trash. Did you watch the game tonight?

I though Rivers looked solid on D and with passing. I don't know if he'll ever be a 2 but I think he could be a decent backup point. Him and Hardaway off the bench would be good IMO.

just saying he isn't worth what we had to invest in him. Hopefully he's a late bloomer, but his game is still AAU style and he hasn't converted it yet. He should put some time in during the offseason and it won't just take 1 year, but for what we invested I hope we see profit. There's more risk than reward I see...

Is this really a question? I would think that almost everybody would say Coach K is a way better coach and could have signed his NBA ticket at any time for any job he wanted (he's passed on the Lakers at least twice)..
The point. You missed it.

The 10th pick? Do you know anything about the history of the NBA draft? 10 is considered one of the worst positions to draft from. Rivers was drafted for potential, not readiness.

Explain this. What is AAU style?

agree 100% you would either have to have played in AAU tournys or experienced the style. Most kids take their talents to College after AAU and either get groomed by good coaching or keep the street style play in them. I guess just depends what kind of grooming you had coming up. Not saying that Doc didnt bring up his son correctly, just think that he won't be a "stud" in the league. He will be very similar to what Doc was. I think he will be a nice role player when its all said and done. Hopefully the hornets benefit from it..well pelicans..

Its the shooting form that gets me How does an NBA coach allow his son to shoot with 2 hands on the back of the damn ball? Joakim Noah thinks Austin Rivers has bad shooting form
