Well, they found her 38 in her purse and needless to say made a huge deal. Wanted to take her CC away and charge her 10-15k.
Luckily she got out of it with a much smaller fine but damn. Terrorist won.

I know a guy that had to fly for a business trip a few weeks after 9/11. Some of his buddies put a cardboard cut-out of a pistol wrapped in aluminum foil in his bag without him knowing it. The people at the airport were not amused 
. He was delayed about an hour and missed his flight.
