I'm a Ravens fan and I liked Cameron. Of course, he got in a pissing contest with the team's franchise QB, and you simply can't do that in the NFL. Teams will choose the QB every time.

And while I was frustrated by Rice's ever-shrinking role, part of that was Rice's fumble issues. And the fact he's better getting the ball off screen passes than on handoffs, and we don't want to base our offense on screen passes.

Bernard Pierce looked like the more dynamic running option to me in the playoffs, especially when you factor in Rice's two fumbles against Denver, so maybe CamCam was onto something. If you're not excited about this hire if it actually goes through, you're crazy. Cam has proven success in the NFL and has enough prestige and respect as a coach to not get steam tolled by Miles. I hope this goes through and I think this hire will make an immediate impact and hopefully we'll not only be functioning, but thriving on offense in a year or two. The thought of CamCam coaching Rivers after doing a lot for his brother would be awesome!
