Another thing I've come across is that the Practice section for Dynasty needs to be dramatically improved. The fact that you can only pick one play and then have to pause and repick one is a pain in the ass.
Its amazing they havent fixed this yet You should be able to randomize all plays like the old days especially for the defense youre playing against. I want to see how my plays work against all types of defenses, and you should be able to do it for certain formations as well If you want to get real creative you should be able to pick a certain number of plays and have them randomize them so youre not going over the same play a billion times but you can work on specific plays you want to work on at the same time and scrimmages should be a possiblity as well. Even a situation where the ball moves with the plays you practice would be nice

You can choose random plays in practice. But they will only be in one formation. You press the back button

What? Really? But then you'd still be going against the same defense for every play.

I also really wish you could have practice games so you can try and install something new in a gamelike situation without having to try it in a real game. This just bit my arse in a dynasty as basically screwed my whole season.

You also can't practice with a custom playbook in a dynasty. It just reverts to whatever your teams standard playbooks are.

When you're in an online dynasty as competitive as ours, yes it would be nice

See, I'm more into the simming side of things than the actual playing. I love doing the actual program building. Another feature I want is auto name generator option for created recruits. Not only is it time consuming if you're going to create many , it gets hard to come up with original names after awhile. I also would like to see them go to a player development system similar to Madden13

Love this idea.

control over not just assistant coaches, but position coaches as well. Don't like the way your OC is performing, fire him. Etc etc
This as well.

Exactly. I'd also like to see the playoff format. I'd also like to be able to recruit players that have already committed up until signing day.

You can do the same for defense. Just pick a formation and press back. Random plays from same formations.

Because of the time constraints they put on you I like that when a player commits you are done having to recruit him, but yeah they could do some tweaks and make it to where a kid might flip his commitment if you don't keep showing him some love. Maybe then can add a feature where a mom says "oh hell nah" and snatches up the LOI at the last moment. I've seen a lot of griping about how long recruiting takes, and it does take a long time, but I actually wish it was MORE in depth, I just wish you could assign your assistants to do it. The Head Coach should be the finisher, not the guy out doing the scut work to find and recruit players. Another thing is, why are we only recruiting seniors? There should be a pool of time available to scout juniors. And yes, even to cheat and talk to those kids if you want to risk it.

Maybe they could do it to where if there was a coaching change, recruits that cared more about the coach prsetige and coaching style would be open to switch to schools.... or something along those lines.

This would be cool. Each assistant could have a recruiting ranking and maybe have a territory that they are best at. That way it would be easier to target certain areas to recruit.

This sounds awesome. You can choose to go in and recruit alongside or trust the Asst to handle it.

Exactly, just be the closer. Or if starting out as an assistant, doing the recruiting.

A way to add significant content to the game would be improving the practice feature. If they added indepth scouting reports with player statistics, formation tendencies and so on it would make the game more challenging in trying to break down a high powered passing attack or find holes in a stout d

I like most of the ideas in here, but I really want this game to get tougher. I'm tired of destroying on Heisman...make the games harder but not cheating. I had the #1 team in the country, all 99s, at Vanderbilt in 5 seasons.

I agree with the guy who said to make the game tougher. It's kind of hard to describe but there should be a tangible feel for the style of team you are trying to beat. The way the game currently stands and always has been is this weird unrealistic clone, where if you play 15 minute quarters you win by 300.
