Look I am all in for this guy, I truly hope we land RN because we truly need help on the DL because of this year's attrition. That being said I just get the feeling that the UF trip and this LSU trip are all built for suspense when he picks up the Ole Piss hat. I don't want that and I truly hope LSU shows him the light you can play in the SEC at Ole Piss or you can play for championships at LSU. I just get that feeling this is all for nothing. If he does pick Ole Piss, I at least give him credit for honoring his commitment to show up for his visit. I just don't have a lot of faith that this isn't all just for show. Maybe it is how he treated Clemson, but I just feel this is all for show.

Dudebro2,

I'm with you on the bruh. I hope he does choose us, but I think his mind has been made up from the beginning. I think he is doing us like he did Clemson which is to get one of his boys an offer from a school that they liked.

Damn I hope I'm wrong. Would've been easier to just get his brother to transfer to LSU. At least that way with Denzell sitting out his transfer year, they would have the same amount of eligibility left.

At the end of the day in evaluating this from a football perspective, LSU wins this tilt hands down. Unfortunately a lot of this decision apparently has nothing to do with football.

He is attempting to pacify the "what if" with this visit. Remember when you were his age. In the end, if the other factors tilt it to OM, so be it. Our coaches did a kick arse job recruiting this guy hard for a long time and landed a visit on the last weekend before NSD. Everything is postured to our benefit. If it doesn't work it is not the result of poor handling by this staff. They are to be commended for this effort and their hard work year in year out delivering top 10 classes. It remains a great time to be a Tigers fan.

"Do you know who I am?" Nice job. I get it, if no one else does.

All of this for what? I've never followed this sort of thing so closely before. Is this typical for the super high profile recruits? Was Clowney this way?

LSU was never really in the mix for Clowney. But I can reasonably assume that the buzz about him would've been at least as much.

Ditto, great job CLM and coaching staff keep it up. They also should be commended on putting a fence around Louisiana this year and hopefully they will do the same next year!!!

I don't think anyone is giving off negative energy here, I hope like all hell we sign RN, we need him and if he wants to compete for championships he needs LSU.

That being said I am also a realist and just posting my thoughts, I think CLM and staff have done a great job in recruiting RN and the rest of the recruits this year. But I just have a feeling that us landing RN is just not in the cards, does not mean I am not sending positive energy to LSU, believe me I am. I just feel the obstacles are too great, but just like with what happened with LC last year, we still have a chance and that is all we can ask for.

Umm, LC said he knew he was going to Bama a year before announcing it. He was a dishonest a-hole for an entire year.

Clowney was on a different level coming out of high school.

RN reminds me more of a Dante fowler or Mario Edwards.

You guys are getting your hopes up for no reason but I guess that was the point of the visit. More eyes on him on nsd.
