There aren't many big 4 network shows I like.

I watch stuff on the other channels

I ended up watching it because I just left the tv on after watching 30 Rock and The Office.

SPOILERS if you give a shite

This show is not good. At least the pilot wasn't. Why doesn't the Tom Brady looking mother fricker main character prick go out and actually TRY to get professional help for his serious, life-threatening problem. Or maybe work a deal out with the local warden to spend every night in a cell? Not doing something real about it is not only stupid, it's selfish, because apparently his alternate personality is a homicidal assface.

And no way a legit doctor (which we're obviously supposed to believe) overlooks something like the body would eventually form an immunity to whatever knockout medication he was taking (he even mentions he'd have to take larger doses as the years passed....and doesn't put together that eventually it'd lose its effect???)

The show just makes no goddamned sense, and shouldn't even be a show in the first place with a solution so simple that he chooses to ignore for some reason. But I guess that's why it's a mid-season replacement.

This piece of hot garbage makes me want to go back and give Revolution a shot, because even the widely hated Revolution is much MUCH better than this.

Poor Samm Levine.

My sister's a trauma surgeon and I'm sure she'd LOVE to know how to only work days.

Honest question. What would the ratings have if it was on CBS?

What's in the 7-8pm time slot on CBS? I'm thinking the 30 Rock finale would've been a better lead-in than whatever's on CBS during that time. I doubt it would've been any better off.

NBC's new drama "Do No Harm" has been pulled from the network's schedule after two episodes, the network said Friday. The series got off to a poor start in the ratings with its Jan. 31 premiere with a 0.9 rating/3 share in the key 18-49 demo, and dropped another 22 percent to a 0.7/2 with its latest episode Thursday.

Well they pushed the season premiere from Oct. 19 to Feb.7, and they have not picked them up beyond the 13 episodes airing now. This is how NBC cancels shows.

My sister called me this afternoon and said she got a mass email from an NBC exec saying he hoped everyone had DVRd the episode last night because it was now "a collector's item".

The show wasn't great, but I feel bad it got axed so quickly. My sister said it was a fun work environment. The later episodes were apparently much better than the first two as well.

NBC is having a tough time. I think I read that Christina Applegate is leaving her show while its in the midst of a retooling.

They should pick up the b in apt. 23.

I read the Applegate stuff earlier. NBC can't do anything right.

Apparently they will just be airing L&O:SVU reruns in Do No Harm's spot. They don't have anything else to air.

They should have put Will Arnett on The Office. He would have been legit and given that show a new life. Instead they promote the worst character who stays around the least to be the boss. So stupid.

Good job by NBC promoting the hell out of this shite stain instead of 30 Rock's series finale.

Hell they plastered Revolution all over their Olympic coverage but barely mentioned Chicago Fire (best new drama). The Office is already going off the air, but if they 86 Community and don't renew Chicago Fire, I'll burn NBC to the ground and piss on the charred remains.

Stated perfectly. The Office still had a future when Michael left but they screwed it up. Up All Night is a decent show and I guess they're screwing it up too.

The lead was off-putting...something very annoying and douchy about the main character. It was like a re-enactment of a fake reality TV show.

...Dr. Hekyle and Hyde? Please, we have enough douchebags in reality TV for a fake evil alter-egos - why fabricate this further in some fictional series?

It had a mediocre cable network premise, a d-list cast, and a laughable name. Wasn't going to succeed. At least not on NBC.

I personally think the premise could've worked if handled correctly, but it wasn't. It was far too absurd to be taken seriously.

Phylicia Rashad isn't D-list. Alana de la Garza was good on Law & Order and Steven Pasquale was good on Rescue Me.

No argument here. I told my sister it was a bad name when they started production. I'm surprised it wasn't changed at some point.

Agreed. Maybe they should've tried it out on USA or even SyFy to see if it established a following. It was thrown into the deep end on NBC without a life-jacket.
