I think the development if rivers will be Monty's gauge. If he can develop him into a legit NBA player, not a star just a guy that can log minutes and be productive, then we are in very good hands.
Something I noticed this season regarding baby Doc, he is progressing. Initially he could barely get to the hole. Now he can do that regularly. His defense has also improved. His TOs and awareness is heartbreaking, but things like FTs and finishing can be developed.
