So I take it that Cotton will be the Sunday starter IF he isn't thrown too much Friday or Saturday?
I guess that's more of the Bradford/Coleman role we were talking about... I just really like Cotton in the long relief role much better than I do in the Sunday starter role.
Bonvillain as the 2nd Sunday starter option pleases me. I think he can be successful there.
McCune as the closer scares me.

It just confused me as well. I just tried to logically think it through as:
1) Cotton is the primary guy out of the pen each weekend.
2) If he is thrown too hard Friday and Saturday, he will not start Sunday and Bonvillain will get the Start.
3) If he is NOT thrown hard on Friday and Saturday, Cotton will get the start.
Is this what anyone else is getting?

McCune closing bothers me.
Cotton starting on Sunday kind of bothers me a little as well.
I guess he is going to treat Cotton like Astin @ Arky. Astin with middle relief on Friday and starting Sunday.

This solidies to me that CPM still has no idea who is going to pitch on Sundays.

Yea, rabbit put it best. Pitching by committee on Sunday. Sounds like he plans on relying on McCune this season. Hopefully he rounds back into form.

Obviously no one has stepped up into the 3rd starters role enough for Mainieri's liking. Bullpen roles are a crapshoot at this point in the season.
