Did you miss the other 49ers player this week making anti-gay comments? Tim Hardaway? Maybe its more of a topic for the OT or poliboard but there's a distinct racial component to it. It's like they are incredibly insecure of being associated with gays

You should do that. You're going to get a lot of white guys who think like Hardaway and Culliver.

black people are definitely more homophobic in general than whites. In California blacks voted 70% in favor of not allowing same sex marriage.....less than 50% of whites did. There were similar results in NC.

I don't think its a religious thing....for'some it is. Maybe they're pissed another minority group is whining about something.

Maybe it has to do with gays trying to act like they are in the same boat as minorities regarding past struggles and injustices.
