I read fine and understand the law. Something you clearly don't grasp in this thread or how gun shows work or how anyone might obtain a firearm.

Now you can't read. Try to take something out of context? True REX move.

Rex how many gun shows have you been to? How many guns have you bought at gun shows? If you have not been to any please explain how you have such knowledge of the inner workings of a gun show.

Rex is as lost as an Amish person trying to explain about Internet porn.

Be patient, he is now googling his next answers. The MSNBC talking points don't cover the questions you have asked.

At least one a long time ago. I was not an interested buyer.

Zero.

You think I have knowledge of the inner workings of a gun show? Damn, I'm good.

Funny how this "lost" person is cleaning your clocks. You even had the ignorance to declare that "virtually all" guns sold at gun shows were by licensed dealers who follow the law. That was good for a laugh.

According to Wikipedia:
quote:
However, the site's operators prohibit goods or services intended to harm others, such as stolen credit card numbers, counterfeit currency, firearms, personal information, assassinations, weapons of mass destruction, and materials used to make such weapons.
Not that it mattered much for the discussion, anyway.

I think it's cute that you think that's actually enforced. It's relevant because you scoffed at individuals buying untraceable weapons online. Happens every day, dear Rexy.

Rex probably doesn't even own a gun. A good friend of mine gave me a Kimber auto .45 pistol today. No papers, no background check. Does that make me a criminal? Was a "loophole" used? It is now at home in my safe. What if I was a criminal? I still got the gun and didn't even ask for it. Things like this happen everyday, not just at gun shows. Rex is an idiot

Buying something anonymously online is not the same as untraceable. Also, your Silk Road volume is miniscule.

Anonymous != TOR TOR > anonymous

Sure, $1.2M per month in sales is miniscule but the number of convicted felons buying firearms at gun shows it astronomical. Yay, made up bull shite Regardless, your point was that gun shows are the only place people can get together and illicitly seek specifically models of firearms. My reference to the Silk Road was merely intended to point out that there are places on the internet to do exactly what you claim gun shows do. As such, your bitching is moot.

Allow me to go ahead and clear all of this up. 1. ALL dealers at gun shows are required by law to have an FFL license. 2. ALL FFL dealers at gun shows and elsewhere are required by law to run a background check before the sale. 3. Guns are sold every day over the internet anonymously by private parties via Craigslist, newspaper classifieds, nickel ads, etc. 4. Nothing Rex or TitATL have argued in this thread are based in any fact whatsoever. Carry on.

I used to chat on IRC and some users used TOR proxies for access. As I recall, Efnet and Dalnet used to kick out TOR ip addresses. If IRC networks can know which are TOR ip's coming out then certainly the government can know which machines are connecting to TOR going in.
