i don't know shite about graphics, but how much better can consoles get?
the graphics on games like hitman were amazing, what else will these games be able in incorporate with the new consoles?

Yeah no reason to get hopes up. It will be like the E3 announcement of the WiiU. they will shows the console/controller and show video of some games.
Even though Im not sure how showing specs will give MS any sort of leg up. MS probably has their specs set and have had them set for a while.

ah, damn you're right. just looked it up.
I've never tried to play PS1 games on the PS3 so I just figured the slims couldn't play PS1 games since they can't play PS2 games.

I think I am about to sell my PS3. With this news dropping the trade in prices of PS3 will go down. I never use it anyway. Only use it for exclusives and all PS3 has coming out is God of War and The Last of Us. Not sure if it's worth hanging on to just for those two games.

You should just give it to some orphan house. They won't care how out-dated it is.
