Hate to admitt it, because I don't want to be anything but even tempered...

But those people that consatntly say they want a spread offense.. really, really get under my skin.... actually they get into ends of my nerve endings

Two Harbaughs, in the fricking SUPER BOWL!!!!

Guess what, hard nose football, power running game, with attempts to go deep... This is the same principle Miles runs....

It is not the system!!! they system is quite good!! Power running is GOOOOOOOOOOD!

Get off the coolade abou these open offenses...

Every timed sport has the same principles... defense, ball control, and clock management....

Miles has a shaky history with clock management... but the system works!

The problem is not the scheme, it does work. LSU just doesn't do the passing aspect any good. And when they do, they bench the fricking quarterback who does it in exchange for running quarterback who can't read a playbook written for pop warner.

that is a valid perception

the reality is:
I see this more than you'd think with a lot of coaches who are as involved on the sidelines as Miles is, NOT defending just saying it goes with the territory.

When LSU executes they are as good as anyone in the country and time contraints are just stats in the next days paper.
