Not sure where he is going with this. Guys who continued to play thinking that nothing bad healthwise would happen in the long run are either lying or stupid.

These guys knew the risks if they have any sort of common sense.

they didn't know the risk in 1950, they knew them during his career though. If he didn't know it is because he didn't care to learn or thought it wouldn't happen to him. Me personally i think he is just laying the ground work to join the lawsuit.

Well, this is part of the problem. You've got a lot of under educated kids from poor families that are great athletes. If your choice is to live in squalor with your mom, or go to the NFL and make millions, you are going to go to the NFL regardless of the risks or even if you understand the risks. You understand this is your way to get out of whatever hood you came from.
