story out forever. If this series didnt have Evangeline Lilly in it for me to look at, I think I may have given it up already. Should I continue?

If your not into it by season 3 then it's not for you. After 3 it gets really out of control. I'm starting the final season right now, the story Is far from over for you.

If you think it is dragging now, I would say no. You will never make it through seasons 4 and 5, especially 5.

I enjoyed the entire series personally though I didn't think it started dragging till the last two seasons.

Get out now if you still think it is dragging. The next couple of seasons get bat shite crazy.

Have to agree with the others (ha!). If you think its dragging out in Season 3 (you are insane by the way), you might be driven crazy by the remainder.

Do this: Get to the Season 3 finale. If you don't want to watch after THAT (which I think is the best Season Finale of any show, EVER), then just move on.

I wish I could watch this again for the first time.

damn. seasons 1-3 are the best of the series IMO. You should probably get out now if that's how you feel. It gets way more out there and drags than what you are seeing now. I'm on a rewatch and in the middle of season 3 also, but loving every episode as much as the first time through.

Just watch until the finale. If you don't like the finale of season 3 then the show is not for you and stop watching.

If the mystery of the show doesn't really inspire you to keep watching, then the rest of the show will be more than painful.

It might be painful regardless. Season 3 made me give up on the show for at least a year. It's that bad. If you can make it through it gets better. No longer do they cram 1 day of "Lost time" into 8 fricking episodes.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I guess when I say dragging I don't mean boring. It just seems to take forever to develop. I like the show fine, but that part is annoying. I guess what I really want to know is if there is a payoff at the end that blows your mind. Aparrently it's pretty clear that there is, so I'll stick it out.

One of the best series and finales ever for me. But I watched the active series and was involved with the internet phenomenon here and on other fan sites. Having said that, if it's "dragging" for you then you are probably expecting something that isn't LOST.

To the OP, the latter part of season 3 is EPIC.

The best part of Lost to me was the "dragging".

It was the build up week to week. The small WTF moments that had me (and others) ENDLESSLY speculating. It was those character moments that made me give a shite about them and want them to survive, somehow.

The Season 3 Finale is everything that is great about this show. It is, for me, my favorite episode of TV...ever.

Simple answer based on your comments. No.

The best of the show is behind you, so most likely you're not going to start liking it more.

Like Freax, it took me probably a year and a half later to finish the show after it was off air. Season 5 was seriously painful to watch and the ending is a cop out, though I have no problem with anybody who liked the finale. It was just a super lazy/let's do it ridiculously crazy writing as possible.

I didn't really like the show much at all the final two seasons, but I if I've watched four seasons of it and I know there is nothing after six, I'm going to finish it.

Just curious, but what episode are you on? If you're in the first 6 episodes, don't worry, everyone thought this. The second half of the season I think is much better than the first. The end is one of the best tv episodes ever produced.

I think it's worth it, but if you're getting bored and think the story is sort of dragging out and you're only in season 3, then it may be time for you to give it up. The last three seasons are all over the place (literally), and it sounds like you would possibly hate it by then.
