I want to say it was determined somewhere he couldnt do baseball for some medical reason(but football is more of a contact sport so unsure what I heard)

What would he play seriously? He is a lefty that threw mid 90's on his fastball with a wicked slider. It would take a little time to get back into pitching shape but that can be done. He would be a situational pitcher that can make a lot of money in the majors for a long time.
I have stated on this board all along, if he can't make it in football "which the chances are low at this point" than he should give baseball a shot because unlike football the age window is a lot longer and the physical toll on a pitcher is not on his legs.
