I'm hearing all this Flacco is so much better than Ryan crap. Ryan had almost a thousand more yards and 10 more TD's in the regular season. Did they play 3 more games than the Ravens?
Flacco, well, he has their defense. He is not the strong point of the Ravens, don't fool yourself because of your hate for the Falcon's. Lewis, Reed, Suggs and Ngata are the difference makers on the Ravens.

Ravens ranked 13th in total def.
Atlanta was 5th.
Ryan had more of a benefit brah.

When Flacco has White,Jones, and Gonzales to throw too get back to me.
And again, One is in the superbowl and one is sitting home.
One has more playoff wins just this year then the other has in his career.

Good point, following this philosophy Flacco is better than Brees, Brady, Manning and Rodgers.
His team beat Brady so he must be better, not like it's a team sport or anything...

Personally I hope they break the bank on Ryan. I just hear the Falcon's hate in some of these post.
Up until this year's playoffs Flacco's career has been considered a disappointment. I don't think either is an elite QB and neither should be in the conversation for Brees money.

Green Bay wouldn't be that much of an upgrade. Let's give Rodgers Brees's o-line and running game and see how many wins that are added to Green Bay's bottom line. The fact is Rodgers carried his team when he had the worst defense in the league.
