legit!
quote: Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them in the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever
When he says its too heavy, and the other guy says "grow stronger" I love that man. And when the same guy fights, but toys with the bigger guy. It's great. This movie is very underrated

quote: , and the book was originally titled Eaters of the Dead. It was very good.
Idea of this is that it is transcribed from some very old Texts from a scribe named Ibn Fadlin (sp?). Theory is that the bear men were actually another form of lesser man such as neanderthal or cromagnon that lived at the same time as modern day man. Some bone digs have proved this true across the planet. The original texts are in a museum and many have interpreted them as one of the reasons they vanished. Modern man wiped them out. I loved the movie. Really loved the book Eaters of the Dead and I would do Antonio Banderas in a minute
