The base (they have 90 configurations of every pistol now) P220 has identical dimensions to the base P226. The only variance is the P226 is listed as heavier with magazine (and who knows what ammo they're loading), which makes sense because 17 9mm rounds should weigh a couple ounces more than 8 .45.
(ETA: My West German P220 was the best pistol I ever fired, and I shouldn't have sold it, no matter how noble the intention. My Exeter, NH P245 - is the second best, and I'm keeping it until I die.)

Thanks for the clarification. I know that there are 100s of sub models but just trying to decide which base model is the size I want.
