I never understood the appeal of BluRay. Unless it's a nature show, I don't want HD. You can see too many flaws in HD. Give me regularD all day.

You must be a woman. I'm 100% convinced women can't see in HD. I have Directv, so the option of HD is taken away, when HD is available, but before, every girl i dated would start watching stuff on the non hd channels. I would tell them to change it to the HD station and they'd question, then we'd switch to it, and they'd say, "I can't tell the differnce".

I am to the point, that i'd rather not watch the show if it is not in HD. It just looks so much clearer. However, MIlitary channel and H2 aren't HD, but it's the only place to get history programs.

Not a woman. And HDTV is not the same as BluRay.

Go watch Lord of the Rings on BluRay and tell me it's better. It's fricking horrendous. Every flaw is shoved in your face.

Edit: Meant to stick to BluRay in original post. HDTV is great. BluRay movies are vomit.

+1

I think its a scientific thing. My wife can't even tell the difference during football or basketball games which I think is the easiest to notice the difference...
