Hey now, I like my Hi Pernt. But then again it stays in my tool box. Its there in case the zombies come when Im away from my armory of 3" 1911s.

Its a 995 carbine. Not one of those handheld guns.

I don't have an opinion on 3" 1911s. I have information gleaned from available sources that I deem to be reliable.
Fact: Rob Pincus ( bio), in years and years of training, has never seen a 3" 1911 run reliably enough to consider them a good choice for a defensive handgun.
There's nothing personal about that. It's just a fact. I'm not saying you don't have a great 3" 1911. I couldn't care less.

You young fellas will realize one day that a person can own and like several guns but still prefer a particular one.
As is well documented here, I push Glocks but unless it is a HP, a Raven, or a Lorcin you won't see me bashing or laughing at other brands.
Go do some research on the real gun training classes and see how many malfunctions are had with the 1911s compared to the Glock, especially the 3" 1911s.
I am able to have a gun conversation without telling other posters to suck dicks an such.
