I get what you're saying but is there really "nothing" moss brought that rice didn't? Rice's heyday was a little before my time. I always thought he was just average athletically. Moss is one of the nfl's all time great athletes/game breakers.

This has nothing to do with generational bias. I grew up with Jerry Rice, but older folks love to think that the greatest players played when they were growing up, and they act like younger people don't know what they are talking about.
The fact of the matter is these two players played in completely different offenses on completely different teams, and both were amazing.
Who is the best? That opinion can wildly vary.
ETA: Nevermind. I see your point, and I completely agree. :)
