What he is doing now should not matter. You should base the trade on what his value was at the time of the trade. Thornton was a big time young scoring guard and we traded him for a back up power forward who was struggling to get minutes in Sac town.

No need to restart the Thornton wars with homerish hyperbole. What was traded was a fringe starting/6th man guard for a fringe starting/6th man forward. It really was a fair trade with the exception of the length of Landry's stay in New Orleans.
