quote:People ain't sayin shite but I'll tell you that's your problem, I'm guessing. GET OUT of Baton Rouge and hit Wal Marts in the smallest towns that have them. I can go to TWO places tomorrow and get some. They've had at least 6 boxes of 50 rounds every time I've gone. One place isn't the best ammo and the other was high as giraffe balls but they've had it.
Go to both Academy's and all area Walmarts tomorrow morning starting at 8. You may find 50 rounds total.
Some of you need to take your wives on a road trip. Kill two birds. Tell her you're taking her on a shopping spree and eat lunch somewhere along the way. Hit the smaller towns, you'll be surprised.

Yep. My cousin has gone to a small town wal mart in NELA a few times and they had 100 rd 9mm every time. I believe BarDtiger said that Rayville Walmart usually has it.

I dont have a problem, I have over 500 rounds of it. He asked for the BR area, so thats the only advice I could give.
I will say that I have scored almost all of mine from the Hammond stores, so there is def some truth to that. But to the BR Academy this morning only had 3 people at the door when it opened, and the one in Hammond usually has more than 10 people any given morning.
After scoring .45, 9mm, and 60 rounds of 5.56 in BR this am, I think BR is actually the best bet, especially since there is a nation-wide limit in all major chains on how much you can purchase. At least in BR you can hit up multiple stores in less than an hour.
