Johnny Unitas is without a doubt the better of the two of them. But Unitas wasn't in the public eye as much as Namath was. Both quarterbacks were considered to be the best the NFL/AFL had to offer at that point in time but Namath got the headlines because the guy wasn't afraid to flaunt himself. Are you forgetting Tarkenton, Staubach, Romain Gabriel, Bart Starr, Ken Anderson.
