Absolutely. Dealt with some very serious themes as well as being an all around solid superhero film.
The first X-Men was a good flick, especially since it kickstarted the whole superhero movie rebirth. Proved a comic book movie could be a box office draw. That movie basically gave us the last 12 years worth of nerdgasm. Don't hate.
Finally, Ill 100% agree with Magneto's portrayal in First Class. Nailed the character. I also love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, just hated the Origins movie. Singer got him to give a solid performance in Xmen2. Ratner and whoever directed the piece of crap Origins movie did not.
