Short Eared Owls, Burrowing Owls, and Northern Hawk Owls will for sure. We got to watch this Short Eared hunting over the Montana prairie for at least 15 minutes before we moved on. It was at least 4 hours after sunrise and a cloudless day. At times he flew no more than 20 feet away. Very cool animal.
