Little angus has a six point down. Havent seen it yet he was hunting with my fil. Only thing I know is its a nice six and he dropped it at 160 yards.

Just had 2 small bucks come by like they were lost. They must have lost a doe they were trailing. They doubled back and I heard a bunch of splashing and running so maybe they found her again

Just had a decent but young 8 pt walk by that I should have smoked, but all I saw was head by the time I got my gun up. That damn thread from over at the OT with all the pictures is pretty awesome...and it cost me!

Does anyone hunt directly by the solunar calendar? I went back and checked old dates when either myself or hunting partners killed deer this season and every time it was during major feed times. Part of me doesn't believe it but my evidence of this season may prove otherwise.
By the way - major today is from 10:17 to 1:24. Thought about getting down to eat at 11:30, but my curiosity will keep me in stand now.

Got a slight case of the red arse this afternoon. Apparantly my brother wants to cook crabs for everybody so I have to skip the evening hunt or they make a big deal out of me being unsociable. I already skipped hunting for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Today aint even a fricking holiday!!

Back in the stand, season ends Thursday but this will more than likely be my last hunt of the season. Damn solunar calendar did not pay off for major today. Says minor starts at 5, so I'll sit until I can't see any more due to darkness.
