Excuses. He couldn't win in Orlando either and got the coach fired and screwed the franchise over.
he is not a good enough player to win a championship on his own there is not a center in the league that currently fits that mold. not even shaq could do it by himself.

The fact of the matter is as of today Dwight Howard is not bringing teams W's.
so putting Dwight on our roster would not make this team a legit threat? we are not getting him and my original comment on him coming here was sarcastic but since you have pulled me into this debate adding Dwight to this roster would definitely make us a contender in the next 2 years

2009 -- defeated Philadelphia, 4-2, first round
defeated Boston, 4-3, conference semifinals
defeated Cleveland, 4-2, conference finals
lost to LA Lakers, 4-1, NBA Finals

2008 -- defeated Toronto, 4-1, first round
lost to Detroit, 4-1, conference semifinals

2007 -- lost to Detroit, 4-0, first round

ETA - never was he on a team with someone like EG much less with Greivis, AD, etc.

I don't know what the debate is, Orlando had nowhere near the roster the Hornets have right now. If you don't think Dwight f'n Howard on this team doesn't make us a legitimate threat in the west, I can't help you.

Is he better than what we have now yes. That doesn't mean it would make us a legitimate threat. The writing is on the wall with the teams he's been on.

To be fair, I wouldn't want to play for Mike D'Antonio either. Dude can't even find a way to get him the ball. Anyway, this is argument doesn't matter because it'll never happen. To you, me, and CP3

he took a team with nobody to the finals.

LeBron went to the finals 1 out of 7 years in Cleveland and got swept. the magic won 1 game in the finals. so if we are saying Dwight is overrated then LeBron has to be in that category too. he couldn't get it done without help either

Lebron went to the finals twice since he left and won. They will probably do it again. On the other hand Dwight well!

Dwight is playing with 2 future HOF

howard isn't on LeBron's level. howard is however the best big man in the game and to say he is overrated and makes a team worse is asinine. I hate this because you are forcing me to defend a man I despise. this is my last post about it
