I'm just not a fan of that tacky feel the rubber over moulded stocks have from hogue. The flex is also something that I was concerned with. Even at 40 bucks, I wouldn't buy it. I'd get their nylon first. As far as the tension screw, I don't see how it's any different than bedding assuming the set screw holds firm. The screw is connected to a large rubber support that cradles the barrel halfway from the trigger and the end of the stock.

How dare you call those stocks tacky?! You, sir, are tacky!
Foreally though, I love the feeling of the stock. Its not a gummy as my Xbolt synthetic stock but more so than a regular composite stock. A nice balance.

And all you described was a free floating barrel. Most good stocks do this anyways.

I'm familiar with how it works. My point was the stock has a lot of flex that will effect the accuracy if the shooter isn't mindful of pressure placed on the forearm.

Sounds like that will work. If you are not getting your desired accuracy I'd imagine adjusting this tension screw to different settings could help. I'd still go free float if at all possible. You'll love the gun. Try a bunch of different ammo and she what she likes.

Does it pick up every speck of dust and lint like my gp100 grip from hogue? Cause that thing looks like its been used to clean the dryer trap within 10 minutes of being outside the case!
