re: Worst experience at a restaurant

Calendar's MANY moons ago. Wife and I went to the champagne brunch and asked for the no smoking section. The waitress sat us next to a table full of smokers. She explained that we were in the half of the restaurant designated no smoking and the other table was in the smoking half. We were literally the only two occupied tables in the restaurant. The waitress was just dingy as hell.

Later (and yes, we had moved) it was reaching 1:00 when the free champagne ended. We asked for one more re-fill and the waitress said sure. Ten minutes later she came by and apologized since she had forgotten our drinks "but it's 1:02 now and I can't re-fill you for free anymore; sorry!". Her tip had just evaporated but the manager heard what she said and brought some champagne over. She wasn't mean or lazy, just stupid as hell.
