You fish right? Suppose the government decided to outlaw a certain fishing line that you use and you love. Wouldn't you go out and try to purchase as much of that wonderful line as you could so you'd have a supply for many years or the rest of your life? Maybe you could even sell some to your fishing buddies when they run out, or sell some for a profit?

Yeah but he's in a platoon with a bunch of prepared Marines and air support. It's going to be you and a hastily formed militia fighting against "The Road"-style cannibals. You're going to have to share your mags with the clowns who only have the one that came with the gun at Wal Mart.
