Hope the radiation gives u cancer and you suffer miserably before death. Then the song would no longer bother you as much.

I was always a bigger fan of Louisiana Saturday night growing up but callin baton rouge has replaced that I believe. Plus the students get more excited over that song than any other, they've already stopped playing tiger rag and neck so there would be some pissed off people if they get rid of it as well.

As someone that no longer lives in the state, and doesn't really care for country, I love both Callin Baton Rouge and Louisiana Saturday Night. For the simple fact that they immediately make me think of being on campus on game days.
Both songs have become my gf's go to songs on the jukebox because of this and she isn't even from Louisiana and didn't go to LSU,
Great songs.

Callin' Baton Rouge is one of my favorite parts of pregame. The entire student section sang along with it, and the video that was made shows just how big of a "Louisiana gumbo of humanity" you find in Baton Rouge on a Saturday. It's the family version of "It's Saturday Night in Death Valley," which shows all the big hits and bigger memories.
All that to say, I'd be sad if they got rid of it. More people love it than hate it, and I hope it doesn't go anywhere.
But if we do change songs, it better be Sandstorm. It's so original and nobody else in the entire world plays that in their stadium. It's just a little more original than the suggestions of the OP.

Sorry, but I doubt it will change. I for one love it. If you dont like it, but love LSU games watch it on TV or just miss the damn pre-game. I completely doubt that it will change. It's a tradition now, so get used to it or move on.
