I love Quinn. I hope we get him. My issues is the same as Matt Muscona's. When are we gonna get a big receiver like Rueben Randle that can stretch the field. I saw an extremely small Rummel secondary contain Quinn to 4 catches. Fontenot is a hell of a QB and helps Quinn's stats to a large degree. Muscona brought up the issue of convincing these big fast receivers to come to LSU. How do you convince them with the present state of the offense with no changes coming.

Randle had close to a 1000 yards and 8 TD's. His numbers would have been even better if he wouldn't have dropped some easy passes. This is the only year the team hasn't had a big receiver, mainly because Travin Dural was hurt. Most of your posts are negative about the offense.

You and everybody else will be very much surprised and impressed with the offense next year.

I saw the game also. Rummel had a vastly superior football team. Fontenot could only extend so many plays. Rummel had the luxury of dropping extra defenders back. Barbe only got 14 points that game but averaged near 40 per game during the season. This is no reflection on Quinn by any means. You are correct, however, Fontenot does help Quinn's stats and I have been watching that group play sports since they were 7th graders.
A big reciever albeit a tight end will be a Tiger next season. Remember Robert Royal? DeSean Smith will be a nightmare for any defender.
