Gamers clamor for extra game content and then complain when it is released too fast. Remember when you beat a game and then had to hope that it sold well enough to get an expansion pack? frick going back to that shit, I want content that ranges from cosmetic to story additions.

No I remember when a game was released and when you beat it sometime later DLC was released and you were happy. I don't remember beating a game on release day or any paid options to help me do so, and the game being alters to make sure I paid money to help me.

Well, if you can beat a game like Dead Space 3 in one day you might have too much free time. I can't put blame on a developer or publisher for the individual time constraints of each gamer.

Specify, what type of model are you speaking about? I remember waiting around for a year after AoEII released to get an expansion and that was a well received game. If a game didn't sell well enough like Freelancer then goodbye additional content (discounting mostly crap mods). Nowadays developers are able to supplement their games with a variety of content whether it is minor or major, even if the game doesn't sell that well.
