No, Bobcats may be one of the worst names in sports. It is named after the former owner. This is why they are trying to rebrand themselves as Cats and may jump on Hornets after we switch.

Bobcats is worse because of the Bob Johnson ego trip, but beside that, Bobcats is a better name than Hornets.

At least our team name has SOMETHING to do with the state in which it is in, unlike:
Lakers Jazz Kings Wizards
The ESPN talking (dick)heads probably don't even know that the Pelican is the La. state bird.
And they SERIOUSLY think Pelicans is worse than UTAH JAZZ ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
