Best of luck to him. Hopefully he can stay healthy throughout his career. I know he mentioned that he has scoliosis and missed two or three games this year due to back issues. He said it was nothing, but you never know how much that may have factored into his decision to stay a bit closer to home and at a school where he wouldn't have much competition even if he has to sit out a few games per year. Goodman was never going very far from his momma at all. She wasn't going on any of his visits outside the state even though Goodman's grandmother lives in Shreveport. This made it even more convenient for Priest to choose ucla.

After cooling down, I don't begrudge the kid. Good luck to him. With that Hundley kid at QB, UCLA is trending upwards. Not national championship upwards but they'll be better than USC this year and stand a good chance of going to the Rose Bowl. The Pac-12 is theirs to lose. Really, as far as our class goes, any new commits are luxuries. Our class looks to be a monster next year, and this years' was very very solid.

But I do agree with MastrShk here. I never believed he was leaving the west coast. From the beginning, everyone said that the biggest hurdle was distance from home. When a kid wants to stay that close to his parents/friends/family, he's not going far.

He would've come to LSU if Goodman was coming I believe. It's just really sad that douchebags like jray are heckling this kid on twitter without even knowing all the factors that went into his decision. People like that are morons and I am ashamed that they call themselves LSU fans.
