hope he has fun going 8-4 at best the next 4 years
They went 9-5 in Mora's first season and almost won the PAC12. Oregon lost Kelly and USC still has Kiffin. Stanford will likely still be good. Those are the 3 best teams in the conference and none of them look to be head and shoulder above UCLA going forward. UCLA should be able to consistently achieve 8-4 at a minimum. None of this "at best" bull shite.

The LOI isn't signed yet...we can still try to flip him...from what I read his family really wanted him here so there still could be a slim chance of flipping him. If he flips to us, I will immediately follow him on twitter again

I've never been a highly touted recruit (obviously), but I just can't understand what makes a guy pick a school like UCLA over LSU. What do they have that we don't, other than being in LA? They have virtually no shot at going to or winning the NC in the next four years, we do. We send a ton of DBs to the NFL and have been a straight up pipeline for them since we got Chavis.. I just don't understand. What is it that these guys are looking for?
There are reasons. 1. L.A. >>>>>>>>>>> Baton Rouge 2. UCLA academia >>>> LSU academia 3. UCLA is closer to family for them. 4. They wanted to play together. 5. UCLA has an NFL-experienced coach. That may mean something to them. 6. Maybe they want to build a tradition The reality is that all kids don't value winning a national championship. Some just want to get to the league and make money.
