Shouldn't be hard. List the components on the board here and some of these guys can tell you if everything is compatible.

Im hoping to put an i-7 3770 on a sabertooth mobo

thats probably a lot of overkill that will end up bottlenecking the rest of your system

I'm going to text him and tell him to list all of his components. He is using parts out of his old computer and I'm not sure how old it is. For all I know it is the same one he had when we were in college together.

I really have no clue.

My next day off I'm going to try and give Nvidia a call and see what is up with this graphics card.

the exact terminology will be different for each board. check your booklet but it will be somewhere under video or peripherals.

I need to find a manual online. The only booklet I received was a speed setup manual. Basically 2 pages of how to physically plug in the card with the rest of the book in every other language you can think of.

My bad. Was thinking about the gpu.

ETA: OK, got into the bios screen. Did the system browser and it is not reading anything in my PCI slot.

Looks like it is a problem with my PSU. I was hoping to limp along with this temporarily. At least I can use the onboard while I wait for the other to come in.
