His thing was he "didnt want to stretch wrist muscles". I always teased him and told him he was making excuses because he couldn't dunk...no doubt he could, but I NEVER saw him do it.

It's surprising when it happens. It's not something you are expecting when you dunk. Like a jammed finger from a pass or rebound.
You are making it seem like dunking always hurts or something.

The most pimp thing I've ever seen in that situation was when Mark Price had a steal, he had the break and pulled up to nail a 3.

Many reasons. You used to see guys miss dunking it off the back of the rim all the time back when the guys tried to rip the goal down. You hurt your hands/wrists when you do shite like that all the time. Smaller guards are usually out in front on Fastbreaks.
