The 1st offer from the boosters was $7.5 mil. They've had to up it to $10 mil to keep in the game. If they were to pull it off, it would be like a coup. The AD & Brown are both aware of the shenanigans. Believe me, their eyes are wide open now, although Texas has never operated that way. These guys are rogues with big egos who've cut deals with international heads of state. They believe they can accomplish almost anything, but not everybody is on board.

Like, for example, Nick Saban.

He's not leaving Bama, my friend. He's ready turned down overtures from Texas (twice). He's at Bama until he's done with coaching.

And at the guy who thinks he knows Saban and what he thinks about Mrs. Terri.
