dude is 5'9" and is no longer 175 having worked out with Patrick Peterson's dad the past months, he is now said to have added 10 pounds muscle and is now a solid 185! A lot of smaller guys have played in the NFL. Shit, the Saints had 5'8" 165 pound Jason "Burnt Toast" David playin CB for them before they finally woke up and realeased him. Indy's Bob Sanders was a fierce hitter at 5'9" 190! Tyrann will excel at the next level like he did at LSU!

Granted TM7 doesn't have quite the same speed as Trindon.
He doesn't have to, he has something Trindon doesn't have; elusiveness! But Trindon has gotten better at it, Tyrann can make people miss tryin to tackle him very well and soon the NFL will discover that.

You could not be more wrong. TM7 is a killer. He will manhandle most NFL players.
Take it down a notch. I think he will make an impact as a ST player and nickle back, but he ain't manhandling "most" NFL players. His ball hawking skills are very tempting though, I hope he does well and stays out of trouble.

I think if he does succeed at the next level it will be as a nickel back, and special teams guy.. Hes small but i think his ball skills and ability to make plays will keep him in the league for a few years..Maybe not a pro bowler at nickel but i can see him making it as a kick and punt returner..

If you think ron brooks was a better cb than matheiu then maybe he want make it in the NFL. Ron brooks will be a starting NFL corner for the next 10 years and started a couple games at LSU. I've never seen tyrann bust coverage in his whole career and after watching recievers run wide open all year on LSU i realize how good he was. He's really a better brandon flower's to tell you the truth. His ability to change direction is superior to anybody i've seen at LSU. You will be surprized how high he get's drafted before it's over mark my words. In just two year's nobody will give a dammnn about how much he smoked in college and he will be one of the most marketable player of all time. Yeah i said it

Mathieu will be the Rookie of the year next year (Barring any off field issues) Yes I'm saying it. if he keeps his nose clean and plays next year, he will dominate and light up the highlight reels.

Undersized and NFL players are too experienced to let someone just strip the ball out of their hands, quarterbacks are on another level and know how to throw on a 5'8 guy. Special teams is a different story.
Peanut Tillman (Bears DB) called and said you are full of it. TM7, if he gets his life together, will thrive in the NFL. The guys was on a team with a TON of NFL picks in 2011-2012 season. He was the best guy on the field...in the SEC...against about the toughest schedule anybody has played in a long time. TM7 is perfect for the passing league the NFL has become. He can play corner on the outside against most 2nd WR. He can play slot corner. He can stay on the field as a safety because he tackles well. He is physical and smart on the field. There are not a lot of guys with his skill set.

Even though many say he will have an average career, I still think if he can stay out of trouble, he will be one of the best in the league for a while. Maybe I'm a little to pro-Tyrann, but watch. In a few years, we'll be filling up these boards saying "We're honored to produce on of the best corners in the NFL right now!"

Why wouldn't I be? Mathieu can make people look silly tryin to tackle him, Holiday is good at using his straight line speed to beat you, that is how he did it while at LSU. But like I said I noticed in the pros he has gotten better with adding some elusivness to his game, but nothing nowhere near the stop and go shite Mathieu does to people!

Bob sanders was wrecking playing safety at 5'9". If you can make plays you can make plays. He's been hearing hat bs his whole life. Tyrann is special.

He is a Football Player. His intangibles are unmeasurable. I see him having a Ryan Clark type career. An overachiever who endures.

I see his future as potentially big if he gets/keeps his shite together. He was extremely enjoyable to watch as a Tiger and I I wish him success at the next level.

people keep bringing up Bob Sanders. Yes, he was short, but he was thick. He was 5'8" 205 (not 185 like someone alluded to earlier). He outweighs Tyrann by more than 20 pounds. That's pretty significant. And before anyone says "oh well Tyrann can just gain all that weight like he did," Bob Sanders weighed in at 204 at the NFL combine as well.
