There’s a reason LSU has been one of the elite programs in college football the past few years. The Tigers have recruited and developed players about as well as anyone. The sobering reality for everybody else in the SEC is that nobody has done it as well as Alabama, and the Tigers and Crimson Tide just happen to reside in the same division.

I look at it as a huge opportunity. We could come out next year and show college football that our program is so strong that we can lose that kind of talent and still be in the hunt for an SEC Championship or even a National Championship. We can send a message to the top recruits that they can come here and know that they will end up in the NFL, know that they are going to be competing for championships, and know that they are going to have a coach in Les that will do anything for them. I truly think we have a chance to still be very good next year. I would rather lose all those defensive players then Offensive. Chavis will not have a shitty defense with our talent.

The article is a ruse to troll Tiger fans. Miles haters rejoice.

A national writer that isn't telling LSU to just cancel the season next year, hasn't he heard it's over? How's the Rant not taught him anything?

I didn't know the entire SEC had 11 and LSU 11. If LSU stays competitive next year Miles should be given the coach of the year award. I like to see only once how Saban does with a bunch of freshmen.

“I like the state of the program,” Miles told The Baton Rouge Advocate. “I like the fact that we send guys to the NFL early and recruit guys with the potential to go to the NFL early.” Something says that cycle's not going to end any time soon at LSU and that the Tigers aren't going to lose their membership in college football's upper class.

This a great article and just shows how well our coaches and staff evaluate talent and actually delevop them. Yeah the offense is vanilla and Miles could do a much better job at creating gameplans and utilizing personel but in other aspects such as running a clean program, disciplining players, recruiting, and winning a huge majority of his games he is tops.

LSU is slipping into the dark depths of the SEC to sit with Vandy and Kentucky. we will never recover. the end is near my friends.
