You're missing my point, I started off by saying he ends up in the nfl regardless....did you not?

But you play and dominate on a big stage it does show the scouts something. It isn't a major factor in evaluations but it does help. You don't think a guy like t'eo greatly benefitted from playing well in front of a national audience? It's a factor.

He could also produce more here because he won't be the sole focus of the opposing team here vs. Ole Miss. He'd benefit by being surrounded by better talent

I can't say its not a factor, but history shows he can be high profile will not being on the best team. RGIII was high profile playing for 9-3 Baylor. Clowney is pretty high profile. OM will be on TV enough if they (and RK) are good. I don't see any reason to think they will be terrible like 2011 the next couple of years. It could hurt his chances of winning stuff like the Lombardi, but other guys from lesser programs have still won awards.

I think that is grossly over rated. The best player will still get attention, at a place like LSU it would open things up for others maybe. But pro scouts adjust for stuff like that if his production is down.

He'd have a better shot at winning an SEC or NC at LSU, that's about it.
