3 Doors Down came from the neighboring community. Same school district if that counts.

Jimmy didn't graduate high school in Pascagoula. I did live down the street from the 3 doors down drummer but I don't claim that

Steve Earle lived in Sulphur, LA (my hometown) for a little while when he was a kid. Across the river in Lake Charles, I guess we could claim Lucinda Williams as well.

Not a band, but James brown lived 15 minutes from me and I have been to and inside his house. I also met him.

Also, 2 of 3 members of Lady Antebellum (sp?)from Augusta Ga. 20 minutes from me.

Hometown: L.A.
Best bands: The Byrds, Love
Admission: The Byrds are my favorite all-time band so I'm prejudiced in my selection. Love is right up there though; they may be the most underrated band of all time.
