when you buy a gun, they allow you a three box maximum of the caliber gun you purchase... if it is a caliber on allotment, you can bring back your receipt to get it...they were out when I bought the gun and so after going back numerous other times trying to get my three at a time they finally had some, so I pulled out my receipt and held them to their word...simple enough?

Gone buy me a $100 youth model 22 tomorrow. My 3 yr old son is going to need it some day, right? Maybe by the time he can use it I'll have some ammo he can shoot in it?

truth be told, they had .22 a couple times since i bought it, but never anything more than 100rd. boxes..so I waited until they had 525rd. boxes...
eta: make sure you get them to sign your receipt saying they owe you your 3 boxes before you leave...

You guys might remember my post a while back when I ran into this "limit exception" at Dicks (a while back as I dont not go there anymore...so hold all of the "shite on you for going to dicks" remarks)....
Anyway, they had the same rule but didnt dictate that the ammo had to be the same caliber as the gun you bought....so jackasses were buying 50 dollar BB guns and racking up on ammo.....probably just to return the BB gun the next day or throw it away.
