I'm saying would it be a bad idea to go out and get a guy like that instead of year after year, wasting draft picks on defensive players that aren't worth a 1st round grade in the end (which is a testament to our FO's lack of ability to draft well defensively)

We have a good receiving corp. Could you imagine Brees and this offense if we hit on a high profile receiver come draft time? It's highly unlikely we will take that route, however, I'm just tired of seeing us waste draft picks on defenders who don't pan out and wind up not staying here long term.
