Jennings. Coaching staff prefers mobility.

Surprised to see this many people excited about our incoming qbs. That's cool. Both of these guys are way off from being ready to play, but shite happens. Ask lee and jj. I find it hard to believe bth of these guys will stick it out.....I favor Jennings as a qb talent, but I think retting fits the mold of the offense that we will implement with mett/rivers. I hope it's pretty wide open.....I hope whoever it is loves lsu.

Rettig has an extremely strong arm and a gunslinger mentality, while Jennings has more mobility, is an excellent decision maker and is just as accurate on the run as he is set.

If the want a game manager its Jennings. If they want to air it out its Rettig.

My pick: Jennings

With the way the game is today it doesn't matter if your'e off from it or not. Freshman QBs are starting every year and doing pretty good at it. Look at Murray.

How hard would it be for Miles to actually run a two QB system that actually works. Both of these guys look great on tape. And in a perfect world you if the both progressed identically could Miles actually split time between them to keep defenses guessing?

I think Jennings will get the first nod. Rettig seems like a gunslinger and I don't think Miles prefers those types of QB's over an efficient game manager. It's comparable to the Saban mentality. Jennings seems like a better fit for the option runs which I would like to see reincorporated into the play book.

Doesn't matter.

Seems like coach has had same-year QBs room with one another in the past. I'm hoping they become great friends and push one another competitively on and off the field towards excellence for themselves, the team and the school.

im leaning to jennings...we need to have a qb that can be accurate and add the threat of taking it to the house...the next Teddy Bridgewater

Jennings, I am totally convinced that all things being equal, a mobile qb is worth his weight in gold.

Don't give me the NFL list of statue QB's, college vs NFL is night and day, there is more parity between the linemen. With our OL woes, I'm not looking for a scrambler, but when the pocket collapses, and it does often, he needs to be able to extend plays with his feet.

Rettig is my choice....kid could be very special. What peeps don't realize is that Hayden moves around pretty well on his feet (MUCH better than Mett) but that is why he tore his ACL last year, a hit on a run play...so his coach made sure he didn't do much running this year. If he can earn Miles trust that he won throw too many int's....I think he is our future QB. Love Jennings too though...good problem to have
