I hear you. I'm not a fan of the colored glass tile back splash. It's going to be dated in a few years when the trend turns to something else. Classic subway tile or nothing is my preference.
Either way, that was quite nice of your wife to hook you up with all that beer.

That's what we've got, white subway tile. I love it, but despise our marble countertops. Biding my time until we replace them.
