English Bayou, Calcasieu River, Lake Charles

I grew up in the Chuck, and agree that the Calcasieu River is pretty marginal. English Bayou area used to be pretty good, but haven't fished it in years. Lake Charles itself is good for reds/specks when the weather is right. Have some buddies that still kill em in LC and Prien Lake at times. Never hunted the river proper, but did hunt in the Little Burns area off the river.
