Care to share the tips of how you catch these fly fishing? Been doing it many years and caught tons, but only maybe 5 total white perch fly fishing. Is it the water depth or bait selection that is my problem?

I catch crappie on a fly rod, but using it more like a cane pole with a cork and tube jig. The extra legnth helps you to drop the jig in tight spots (under trees, next to cypress trees, etc..) Not exactly fly fishing for them, but fun and very effective.
